Sunderland away
In Brighton tonight and just talking to a Newcastle policeman who told me the police force up there are trying to get the Sunderland game switched to Good Friday as Leeds are at Newcastle on Easter Saturday as well. So maybe wait until booking train tickets

Book with CrossCountry trains if the match is changed you can change your rail ticket without it costing you anything.

Any train. Any train company.

I'm fucking well surprised that had SKY not changed the Goons game to Monday night that ALL 3 North-East clubs were down to be at home on that Saturday no matter what League their in...

I bet their OB will be rubbing their hands with all that overtime !!!!!!

Policeman told me the Newcastle is on t.v. at 5.30 but they are worried that West, ham will be staying in Newcastle on the Saturday night. Just the messenger chaps, Told him I would be surprised if the police could move it now but he said they had applied.

Seems strange when you fully expect that Sky would move this fixture to a Friday anyway, I can only assume there must be some reluctance having Newcastle hosting Leeds on a Bank Holiday?

Arsenal at Boro as well.

Hope we turn out for this.

Re: Sunderland away
Apparently Championship clubs are playing on Good Friday so why aren't Newcastle playing then anyway?

Re: Sunderland away
From what I have read the police failed when the fixtures were first published to get one of the games moved, so I would be extremely shocked now that the Premier League TV matches have been announced to see ours shifted.

Re: Sunderland away
They can fuck right off. TV fixtures have been announced now so of course fans will have started booking tickets. The police have known since July what the fixtures are.
